B-Line Eaton series strut fittings and accessories, 1.53" Height, 1.62" Length, 1.62" Width, .11lbs, Steel, Two hole 90° adapter angle, DURA GREEN

No. The B589-62GRN is the steel angle bracket only. You order the strut nuts and hex head bolts separately, sized to the strut channel you are working with, and in a matching finish if the run is in a corrosive or damp location.

Not on its own. With a single fastener through each leg, a two hole angle can pivot about either bolt until the bolts are torqued tight, and under load it can still work loose. For a joint that must hold a fixed angle under vibration or repeated load, use a four hole angle or a corner gusset plate with two fasteners per leg, or double up two of these angles on opposite faces of the strut.

The B589-62GRN is a two hole 90 degree adapter angle for Eaton B-Line strut. It ties two runs of strut, or strut to a structural surface, at a right angle, with one hole in each leg. Use it where a run has to turn a corner or where a vertical strut post meets a horizontal member.

It is listed at 1.53 in height, 1.62 in length/depth and 1.62 in width, and weighs .11 lb. That is a compact single-hole-per-leg bracket, so plan on one bolt and channel nut per leg rather than a multi-hole angle if you need more shear capacity across the joint.

DURA GREEN is Eaton B-Line's green coating over the steel fitting. It gives more corrosion protection than a plain electro-galvanized fitting, which matters in mechanical rooms, parking structures, wash-down areas and other damp locations. Match it with DURA GREEN strut and hardware so the whole assembly has the same level of protection.

Physically yes, it is a standard steel strut angle and bolts through the channel the same way. Just be aware you are mixing finishes: the DURA GREEN coating is the more protected part of the assembly, so in a damp or corrosive area the plain galvanized channel and hardware will be what corrodes first.

Certifications are shown as Not Applicable for this fitting. Treat it as a general purpose steel strut connector and size the joint from your engineer's load numbers rather than from a listing.
