1) Can the BL250 conduit clamp mount to strut as well as cable tray?
Yes. The BL250 attaches to cable tray rungs and to strut profiles, which is why the same part covers overhead tray runs and wall or ceiling strut channel without a separate adapter.
2) Will the BL250 bracket fit the rung on my cable tray?
Maximum mounting dimension is 2.576 inches, so the tray rung or strut flange it clamps over has to be within that. Measure the rung across the clamping face before you order a box of them.
3) Is the B-Line BL250 clamp galvanized for damp or outdoor locations?
It is pre-galvanized steel. That suits indoor and protected exterior work; for continuously wet, coastal, or corrosive process areas, spec a hot-dip galvanized or stainless clamp instead.
