3) Can I use the FLWK96 window kit on a NEMA 4 or 4X washdown enclosure?
No. The FLWK96 is rated for use on Type 1 and Type 12 enclosures only. Putting it on a Type 4 or 4X cabinet would compromise the hosedown and corrosion rating of that enclosure. For a washdown application you need a window kit specifically rated for Type 4/4X service.
4) Is the FLWK96 window a fixed pane or does it open?
Fixed. The FLWK96 is a fixed-window kit, meaning the polycarbonate pane is permanently mounted for viewing meters, indicator lights, or HMI displays without opening the enclosure door. If you need access through the window itself, this is not the part, you want a hinged window or door kit.
