3) Will the R007 rose work on a bedroom or bathroom door that needs to lock?
Yes, that is exactly its purpose. The R007 is the privacy-function rose, used to build a tubular privacy set with a push-button or turn-button inside and an emergency release outside. Pair it with a privacy latch and the knob or lever of your choice.
4) How far does the Baldwin R007 rose stand off the door face?
Projection is 0.25 inch, so the rose sits nearly flush against the door. That matters where a door swings tight to a wall or casing, or where you are matching the low profile of existing Estate trim on adjacent doors.
5) Is the Baldwin Estate R007 rose solid brass?
The substrate is brass. On the Lifetime Satin Nickel version, the solid brass is nickel-plated with a satin PVD finish, so you get the silver tone with brass weight underneath.
