2) Does the Mustee 360L barrier-free base need a mortar bed under it?
No mortar bed. The base is reinforced to sit flat directly on the subfloor, which is the main labor difference against a tiled or mortar-set pan. Your subfloor needs to be flat and solid; the reinforcement carries the load, it does not correct a wavy floor.
3) What drain assembly do I need for a Mustee 360L, and is one included?
