Mustee 360R Barrier-Free DURABASE Shower Floor: 30x60, Right-Hand Drain, White
The Mustee 360R is a 30" x 60" barrier-free shower floor engineered for accessible, code-compliant installations in multi-family, commercial, and residential applications. Its right-hand drain position and zero-threshold design make it the go-to base for ADA-compliant and barrier-free shower builds where a curb-free entry is required.
DURABASE Construction
Built from Mustee's proprietary DURABASE composite material - a high-density, reinforced construction that resists flexing, cracking, and surface wear far better than standard acrylic or fiberglass bases. The solid feel underfoot and the durable white finish hold up to the heavy-use demands of hospitality, healthcare, and multi-family environments.

Mustee 360R – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Mustee 360R drain on the left or the right?
Right-hand. The R in 360R is the drain position, and it is not field-reversible, so the existing rough-in has to land at the right-hand drain location as you face the opening. If your waste line sits at the other end of a 60 inch run, a right-hand base will not reach it and you need the left-hand version instead. Check the rough-in before ordering, because this is the single most common reason a base goes back.
2) Can I use the Mustee 360R to replace a bathtub in an apartment renovation?
Yes, and it's a common use for it. At 30 x 60 inches it matches the footprint a 5 foot alcove tub leaves behind, so the framing usually doesn't have to move. What does have to be dealt with is the drain: a tub waste sits at one end of the alcove and the 360R is a right-hand drain base, so the plumber needs to confirm the new drain lands in that position. It also enters flush with no curb, which is the point on accessible unit conversions.
3) How is the Mustee 360R DURABASE shower floor installed - does it need a mortar bed?
It's made for direct installation over a mortar bed or another approved substrate. That means the floor under it has to be prepared, not just set on bare subfloor, and the drain rough-in has to be located to the right-hand position first. Full dimensional drawings and the rough-in requirements are in Mustee's spec sheet for the 360R.
4) Is a DURABASE composite shower floor durable enough for a hotel or healthcare bathroom?
DURABASE is Mustee's high-density reinforced composite, and it's a heavier, stiffer material than a standard acrylic or fiberglass pan, so it resists flexing, cracking and surface wear better underfoot. That's why the 360R gets specified in hospitality, healthcare and multi-family baths where the fixture gets used many times a day rather than once or twice.
5) What color is the Mustee 360R barrier-free shower base?
White, and that's the only finish it's built in. White is the standard match for institutional and multi-family fixture packages, so it lines up with the toilets and lavatories already going into the unit.
