Handing. The 10LZRFLATSCAN-LELB is the left door mount configuration, in black. The sensor is aimed to cover the face of one leaf including the hinge area, so the unit has to match the side the door hinges on. Order the left mount for a left-hand leaf; a right-hand leaf takes the right mount version. On a pair, you need one of each.
2) How high above the floor does the LZR-FLATSCAN SW have to be mounted?
Mounting height runs 75 to 98 inches, or 6.25 to 8.2 feet, measured from finished floor to the sensor LED. That covers a standard 80 inch opening with the header trim above it and most commercial transoms. If your header sits below 75 inches or above 8.2 feet, the detection geometry falls outside spec and the unit will not scan the door face the way it is designed to.
3) What power supply do I need for a BEA LZR-FLATSCAN laser sensor?
12 to 30 VDC, Class II, drawing under 15 W.
