Blanco 406399 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the Blanco 406399 mesh basket fit my Precis sink?
The 406399 mesh basket is built to fit most Blanco PRECIS sink models, sitting down inside the bowl. If your sink is a different Blanco series or another brand, check the bowl opening before ordering, since the fit is specified against the PRECIS line only.
2) Is the Blanco 406399 a protective bottom grid or a dish basket?
It is a mesh basket, not a flat bottom grid. It drops into the bowl for drying dishes and doubles as a colander for rinsing produce, and it can also sit on the counter. A bottom grid that shields the sink floor from pots and knives is a different accessory, so if scratch protection for the basin is what you are after, look at a Blanco sink grid sized to your specific bowl.
3) What is the Blanco 406399 basket made of, and will it rust or scratch my counter?
Stainless steel construction, with non-skid feet on the bottom that keep it from sliding and protect the countertop or sink surface it rests on. It is also dishwasher safe, so it can go in with the load for cleaning.
