That is what the R4400 resin formulation is for. It is rated heat-resistant, scratch-resistant and solvent-resistant, which is why it gets used on electrical panel identification, asset tags, and labels in chemical processing and lab areas where surfaces get wiped with cleaners.
4) Why would I choose a white ribbon instead of black for labeling?
White print is for dark or black label stock, where black ink would disappear. The M71-R4400-WT is a single-color white ribbon, so every character it prints comes out white. If you are labeling on white or clear stock you want a black R4400 instead.
