Bobrick 3541 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Are the sanitary disposal bags included with the Bobrick B-3541 dispenser?
No. The B-3541 holds one pack of 25 two-ply plastic bags, but the bags themselves are not supplied with the dispenser. Budget for bag refills separately when you are stocking restrooms.
2) Does the Bobrick B-3541 need to be recessed into the wall, or can it go on a finished tile wall?
It surface mounts, so no wall cavity or recess prep is needed. The unit sits on a concealed wall plate and projects only 1 inch off the face of the wall, which makes it workable on finished tile, block, or partition walls where cutting in is not an option.
3) Can users pull the whole stack of bags out, or is the Bobrick B-3541 secured?
The dispenser has a concealed locking device, so the cover stays shut against casual tampering and pilferage. Maintenance staff snap the cover off the wall plate to reload a fresh pack.
4) Will the Bobrick B-3541 hold up in a high-traffic public restroom?
The unit is stainless steel with a satin finish, and the concealed wall plate behind it is 22-gauge type 304 stainless. Type 304 is the standard corrosion-resistant grade used in wet washroom environments, and satin hides fingerprints and wipe marks better than a bright polish in schools, stadiums, and airports.
5) What is a sanitary disposal bag dispenser for, and do I still need a napkin disposal unit?
The B-3541 dispenses small two-ply plastic bags that users take to wrap feminine hygiene waste before it goes in the receptacle. It does not collect anything itself, so it is an addition to a sanitary napkin disposal, not a replacement for one. Typical layout is the bag dispenser on the wall or partition beside the toilet, with the disposal receptacle within reach.
6) What finish does the Bobrick B-3541 come in, and will it match other stainless washroom accessories?
Satin stainless is the only finish offered on the B-3541. That is the same satin stainless used across most commercial washroom accessory lines, so it reads consistently alongside satin grab bars, paper dispensers, and napkin disposals in the same room.
