1) Which Bobrick towel dispensers does the B-369-130 TowelMate fit?
The TowelMate module drops into ClassicSeries B-359, B-369 and B-3699 cabinets, TrimLineSeries B-35903 and B-36903, and ConturaSeries B-4262, B-4369, B-43699, B-43944 and B-43949 manufactured prior to June 2010. Bobrick also states it universally fits similar models from other manufacturers, so it is not limited to Bobrick cabinets.
2) Can the TowelMate be added to towel dispensers already installed on the wall, or only to new cabinets?
Both. The B-369-130 retrofits into towel dispensers that are already installed, and the field installation goes into existing cabinets without tools. You can also specify it up front on new installations.
3) How many towels does a cabinet hold once the TowelMate insert is in place?
Capacity with the TowelMate is 350 C-fold towels or 475 multifold towels. It dispenses those folds one at a time using the Perfect Pull Rod rather than letting a user grab a handful.
4) Will the TowelMate insert fit inside a shallow recessed towel cabinet?
The module is 3 5/8 inches deep, so the cabinet interior has to clear that behind the door. It mounts in wall-mounted dispenser cabinets.
5) Does the TowelMate actually cut paper towel consumption in a high-traffic restroom?
Bobrick puts the reduction at 20 percent, with a stated range of 20 to 40 percent reduction in paper waste. The savings come from the Perfect Pull Rod separating individual C-fold or multifold towels instead of releasing a handful at a time, which is the usual source of overuse in busy washrooms.
6) Do paper towels fall out of the cabinet when the janitor opens the door to refill it?
No. The TowelMate has a 90 degree return towel guide that holds the stack back when the door is opened for servicing, and the black nylon support rod keeps the papers from bulging, sagging or dropping through the dispensing opening. The easy-load channel and retainer speeds up the refill itself.
