Bobrick 3803-20 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Which Bobrick units does the B-3803-20 waste receptacle fit?
The B-3803-20 is the replacement liner for Bobrick B-3803 and B-38032 combination units. It is not a standalone receptacle, it drops into the waste compartment of those two models and lifts back out for servicing.
2) Can I buy just the waste bin for my Bobrick towel dispenser/waste combination unit instead of replacing the whole cabinet?
Yes. The B-3803-20 is sold as the replacement receptacle alone, so a cracked or damaged 6.3 gallon bin in a B-3803 or B-38032 combination unit can be swapped without touching the dispenser cabinet. It lifts out for servicing, so no wall work is involved.
3) How big is the Bobrick B-3803-20 receptacle and how much trash does it hold?
Capacity is 6.3 gallons, and the molded bin measures 26.9 inches H x 10.4 inches W x 5.6 inches D. That narrow 5.6 inch depth is why it only suits the B-3803 and B-38032 cabinets, it is shaped for a slim recessed or semi-recessed compartment rather than a general purpose bin.
4) Is the Bobrick B-3803-20 bin metal or plastic, and will it leak?
It is rigid molded plastic, not stainless, and it is built leak-proof so damp paper towels do not wet the cabinet behind it. For a restroom crew that means the liner takes the moisture instead of the stainless housing.
5) Does the B-3803-20 come in more than one size?
One size only. The receptacle is offered in a single 6.3 gallon capacity, so there is nothing to specify when ordering beyond the part number itself.
