Bobrick 39603-15 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Which Bobrick unit does the B-39603-15 lock and key fit?
The 39603-15 lock and key is the replacement for Bobrick model B-39603, which is a discontinued washroom accessory unit. If the cabinet or dispenser you are servicing carries that B-39603 number, this is the correct lock and key set for it. It is not a universal Bobrick lock, so match the number stamped on the unit before ordering.
2) Does the Bobrick 39603-15 come with the key, or is it the lock only?
Both. The 39603-15 ships as a lock and key set, so a facilities crew rekeying or reopening a seized washroom accessory does not need to source a key separately.
3) My Bobrick washroom unit is discontinued. Can I still get a lock for it instead of replacing the whole cabinet?
Yes, for B-39603 units. Bobrick still supports that model with the 39603-15 lock and key, so a property manager or MRO buyer with a discontinued dispenser or cabinet in service can restore security without pulling and replacing the unit itself.
4) Is the Bobrick 39603-15 a toilet partition lock or a washroom accessory lock?
It is a washroom accessory lock. The 39603-15 is catalogued for washroom accessory application and is the lock and key for the B-39603 unit, not a latch set for a toilet compartment door. If you need a compartment door latch, look to partition latch hardware rather than this part.
5) Can I order several Bobrick 39603-15 locks keyed alike to standardize a building?
The 39603-15 is sold as a single lock and key configuration, model 39603-15, with no keying options to choose from. What you order is what Bobrick supplies for the B-39603 unit, so multiple pieces come as that same factory lock and key rather than as a custom keying group.
