Bobrick B43944-20 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What unit does the Bobrick 43944-20 lock and key fit?
The Bobrick 43944-20 lock and key is the replacement lock and key for the B-43944 ConturaSeries recessed paper towel dispenser / waste receptacle. It is a unit-specific service part, so it is the right order only if the cabinet you are servicing is a B-43944.
2) Does the Bobrick 43944-20 come with the key, or is the key ordered separately?
Both come together. The 43944-20 is supplied as a lock and key set, so you are not ordering the cylinder and the key as two line items.
3) I manage several restrooms with Bobrick ConturaSeries towel/waste cabinets that have lost keys. Will one 43944-20 key open all of them?
Not something the part data settles. The 43944-20 is sold as a matched lock and key for the B-43944 cabinet, so the dependable approach for a fleet is to replace the lock as well as the key on each unit you are servicing, which puts every cabinet on the lock you just installed.
4) Is the Bobrick 43944-20 the correct part number to order for a B-43944 lock replacement?
Yes. Order it as Bobrick 43944-20, the lock and key for the B-43944. Bobrick service parts carry the cabinet number followed by a dash suffix, so the -20 suffix identifies the lock and key within the B-43944 parts breakdown.
