Bobrick 82512 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Which Bobrick dispensers does the B-82512 soap cartridge fit?
The B-82512 SureFlo cartridge is formulated for Bobrick B-830 Series lavatory-mounted soap dispenser systems. It is a sealed refill cartridge for that multi-feed system, not a bulk soap you pour into a generic deck-mounted or wall dispenser. If your washroom runs a different dispenser brand or a Bobrick model outside the B-830 Series, this cartridge is not the refill for it.
2) Is the B-82512 foam soap or liquid lotion soap?
Foam. The B-82512 dispenses foam soap, so it only belongs in a B-830 Series system set up for foam. Dropping a foam cartridge into a system running liquid soap, or the reverse, gives you the wrong dispense at the spout, so match the cartridge type to how the system was originally specified.
3) How many handwashes do you get out of a 12 liter Bobrick SureFlo cartridge?
Twelve liters, rated at 24,000 handwashes per cartridge. For a facility manager planning restroom service intervals, that number is what sets your change-out schedule: divide your daily traffic count into 24,000 and you have the days between refills for each dispenser head on the system.
4) What is the EcoLogo green soap cartridge for Bobrick SureFlo, and why choose it over the standard one?
The B-82512 is the EcoLogo-certified green foam formulation in the SureFlo cartridge line, in the same 12 liter cartridge that feeds a B-830 Series system. Institutions chasing a green cleaning or sustainable purchasing standard specify it for that reason. Mechanically it is the same refill job as any other SureFlo foam cartridge; the difference is the soap chemistry, not the fit.
5) Can one B-82512 cartridge serve several sinks in a restroom?
Yes, that is the point of the SureFlo design. The B-830 Series is a multi-feed dispensing system, so a single 12 liter cartridge supplies multiple lavatory-mounted spouts from one reservoir instead of a separate bottle at each sink. In a high-traffic public restroom that turns a dozen individual refills into one cartridge swap.
6) Do I need to order anything else with the B-82512 besides the cartridge?
Just the cartridge. The B-82512 is the sealed soap refill for a B-830 Series system that is already installed, so it carries no pump, no spout, and no mounting hardware. If you are building out a new lavatory installation rather than restocking one, the dispenser system itself is the separate order and this is what you feed it afterward.
