Bobrick 8281-25 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly comes in the Bobrick B-8281-25 top housing assembly?
The B-8281-25 is a foam top housing assembly that ships with the foam mixer housing and an installation hardware packet, so the mounting hardware for the swap is in the box.
2) Is the Bobrick 8281-25 a complete soap dispenser or just a repair part?
It is a service part, not a whole dispenser. The B-8281-25 is the top housing assembly with the foam mixer, used to rebuild or restore the foam-dispensing top of a Bobrick soap dispenser rather than to install a new unit from scratch.
3) Will the B-8281-25 work with liquid hand soap, or foam only?
Foam only. The assembly is built around a foam mixer housing, which aerates foaming soap; running standard liquid soap through a foam mixer is the wrong pairing and you want a liquid top housing instead.
4) Is there more than one version of the Bobrick 8281 foam top housing to choose from?
One configuration is offered: model 8281-25. There are no finish or size choices to specify, so the part number alone identifies what you are getting.
