1) What size hole does the Bobrick B-846 soap dispenser need in the countertop?
The mounting hole has to be 1-3/8 inches (35mm) in diameter. That applies to new deck installs and to retrofits alike; if you're dropping it into an existing opening that's smaller, enlarge it with the correct hole saw. The dispenser is counter/deck mounted, so the spout sits above the deck and the reservoir hangs below.
2) Does the Bobrick B-846 run on batteries or does it need power at the sink?
It runs on an AC adapter at 6 volts, so you need a receptacle or a power provision under the counter. Plan the electrical rough-in before the tops go down. The unit does carry a low battery indicator as a feature, but the power type specified for it is the AC adapter.
3) Do I have to crawl under the counter to refill the Bobrick B-846?
