The UBS38212 U-bolt is threaded 3/8-16, meaning 16 threads per inch on a 3/8 inch rod, cut to the ANSI/ASME B1.1 thread standard. Any 3/8-16 UNC nut will thread on, so replacing a lost nut on the job is easy. Two hex nuts come with each bolt.

The UBS38212 has a 3 inch inside width across the legs, so it straps round stock, conduit or pipe up to roughly 3 inches outside diameter, with 3-5/8 inches of leg length to pass through the mounting channel or strut and still take the nuts.
