Metallics MBR150WHWS – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Does the Metallics MBR150WHWS come with a mounting saddle, or do I buy that separately?
The saddle is included. MBR150WHWS is the wood screw version supplied with a saddle, so you get the ring and the mounting saddle together, 10 sets to a pack.
2) Will the MBR150WHWS bridle ring screw into a wood stud or joist?
Yes. MBR150WHWS is the WS (wood screw) configuration, so the threaded end drives directly into wood framing, joists, or blocking. For steel or threaded rod you'd need a machine screw or threaded version instead.
3) What size cable bundle does the Metallics MBR150WHWS bridle ring support?
The MBR150WHWS is a 1-1/2 inch bridle ring, so the ring opening carries low voltage cable bundles up to that diameter. It ships 10 pieces per pack.
4) How many bridle rings are in a pack of Metallics MBR150WHWS?
Ten per pack. That's typically enough for one run of low voltage cable with rings spaced along a corridor or above a drop ceiling, so order multiples by the number of support points on the job.
