Cahaba CAVELL24 Ellis 24 in. Vanity with Top & Ceramic Basin.

The Ellis 24 cabinet measures 24 inches wide by 22 inches deep, and stands 34.31 inches high at the cabinet with an overall height of 34-5/16 inches including the top. A 24 inch opening leaves you no clearance for scribe or for the doors to clear the wall, so plan on a rough opening slightly wider than 24 inches. Depth of 22 inches is standard for a bath run, but check your door swing against the 22 inch projection in a tight powder room.

Order a 4 inch centerset faucet. The marble top is pre-drilled with three holes on centerset spacing, so a widespread or single-hole vessel faucet will not land on the drilling. The faucet is not included, and neither is the drain assembly, so add both to the order.

No mounting hardware is supplied. The Ellis 24 is built as a freestanding cabinet that sits on the floor, so you provide your own screws and anchors if you want to cleat or fasten it back to the studs, which is worth doing on a 99.2 lb unit carrying a marble top.

The top is genuine Carrara marble, 1 inch thick, with a matching 3 inch backsplash. Marble is porous and will etch from acidic cleaners, so for a high traffic rental or commercial restroom you may prefer a quartz or cultured marble top instead. The basin is a rectangular ceramic bowl, undermounted to the stone.

It ships pre-assembled with the top pre-drilled, so there is no cabinet build on site. It weighs 99.2 lbs, which is a two-person carry up stairs or through a finished hall, and the marble top is the part that will not survive a drop.

Both. The dove gray cabinet ships with two complete sets of pulls, one polished chrome and one brushed nickel, so you can match whatever faucet and towel bars are already in the room without a separate hardware order. Useful when you are standardizing across units and the finishes vary building to building.

Storage is a single cabinet behind two soft-close doors with one adjustable shelf. There are no drawers, so plumbing runs through open cabinet space and you lose nothing to drawer boxes, but a buyer who needs drawer storage for a primary bath should look at a different configuration.

Single bowl, one rectangular ceramic basin centered in the top. At 24 inches wide and 22 inches deep it is sized for a powder room, a secondary bath, or an apartment unit bath rather than a double-sink primary.

The cabinet is wood construction, finished in dove gray with craftsman style detailing, and it is made in Vietnam. The basin is ceramic and the top is marble, so the only surface needing periodic sealing is the stone.
