The deck is drilled with one finished faucet hole for a single hole faucet, and it carries pilot holes on 8 inch centers so an 8 inch widespread set can be knocked out and installed instead. If you are ordering the faucet at the same time, decide before install, since opening the pilots is a one way job.

The trough style vitreous china basin comes pre-attached from the factory, and the matching backsplash is included. Mounting hardware is in the box too. On site the work is setting the top on the cabinet and hooking up the faucet and drain, not bedding a sink. The coordinating sidesplash is a separate part, CASSMF2z, if your top runs into a side wall.

The rectangular trough basin runs 18 inches wide by 13 inches long with a 6 inch depth, and the drain is at the rear. Rear drain placement pushes the P-trap toward the back wall, which usually leaves more usable shelf or drawer space inside the cabinet than a center drain does. Worth checking against the existing rough-in before you commit, since a top with a rear drain does not always line up with plumbing set for a center bowl.

The basin has an overflow, and the overflow port sits 4 inches up. That means you want a drain assembly made for an overflow sink, one with the side ports open through the drain body. A no-overflow (grid style) drain on this bowl will block the overflow channel and the sink will not drain over the rim as intended.

No sealing on the CAVT37. It is built from Daltile ONE Quartz, which is an engineered nonporous surface, so it is stain resistant and scratch resistant with no annual sealer. For a property manager running multiple units, that removes a maintenance item that natural stone tops add.

74 pounds with the basin attached. That is a two person lift onto the cabinet, and awkward more than heavy because the quartz slab is 37 by 22 inches and will flex the corners if you carry it flat. Carry it on edge, and make sure the cabinet rails are shimmed level before setting it down.

The top is fabricated in the United States from Daltile ONE Quartz. The trough basin itself is an imported vitreous china bowl, attached at the factory. If you are working a job with domestic content requirements, that split matters, the quartz surface is US made and the china bowl is not.
