It's supplied in black, which is the colour normally specified where the tubing sees sunlight. Combined with the heavy-wall cross-linked polyolefin construction, it's the version used on exposed cable runs and weatherproofed connections rather than an indoor-only colour-coded tube.

It's a conventional heat-recoverable polyolefin tube, so a standard electrical heat gun works.
