Jaw opening on the CMI-600 is 1.18 inches (30 mm). That clears most single large feeders up to roughly 500 MCM with insulation, but it will not swallow a bundle of conductors or a full set of parallel feeders in a large panel. If you regularly clamp bundles or busbar, you need a larger jaw or a flexible current probe instead.
