The Corbin Russwin ML2042 is a Grade 1 double cylinder mortise lock engineered for entrance and public restroom applications in high-traffic commercial, institutional, industrial, and government environments. Conforming to ANSI function F09, this lock allows latchbolt retraction by grip from either side unless the outside grip is locked by key from inside, with the inside grip always remaining free. Constructed of heavy-gauge steel with a 1" stainless steel deadbolt, the ML2042 is designed for 1-3/4" (44mm) standard door thickness and features a field-reversible handing mechanism. The ML2000 Series has been UL cycle tested to an exceptional 14.5 million cycles, delivering unmatched durability for demanding applications.
