The Corbin Russwin ED5600AL is a professional-grade mortise exit device from the ED5000 Series, engineered for demanding commercial environments where life safety and reliable egress are paramount. This 3-hour fire rated device features a wide stile design requiring a minimum 4-1/2" (114mm) stile width and accommodates door thicknesses of 1-3/4" (44mm) standard, with optional configurations for 2" (51mm) and 2-1/4" (57mm) doors. The standard 36" (914mm) push bar fits doors from 30" to 36" (762mm–914mm), with optional 24" (610mm) and 48" (1219mm) bars available for narrower or wider openings. Certified to BHMA A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 2 and UL Listed for a 3-hour fire rating, this device is ideal for exit-only applications or for use with separately purchased classroom or passage lever trim.
