Designed to accept Classroom or Passage Thumbpiece Trim (not included), this device features a non-handed bar with a field-reversible mortise lock body and accommodates door widths from 24" (610mm) up to 48" (1219mm) depending on bar selection. The standard 36" (914mm) bar fits doors from 30" to 36" (762mm–914mm), and the device requires a minimum stile width of 4-1/2" (114mm). Certified to BHMA A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 2 and UL Listed for a 3-hour fire rating, the ED5600AT delivers the reliability and code compliance required for schools, offices, healthcare facilities, and other high-traffic commercial environments.
