The Corbin Russwin ED5657AL is a fire rated mortise exit device from the ED5000 Series, engineered for wide stile commercial doors requiring reliable life-safety egress performance. Designed for doors with a minimum stile width of 4-1/2" (114mm), this device accommodates standard 1-3/4" (44mm) door thickness with optional configurations for 2" (51mm) and 2-1/4" (57mm) doors. The standard 36" (914mm) bar fits doors from 30" to 36" (762mm–914mm), and optional 24" (610mm) and 48" (1219mm) bars are available for 24" and 36"–48" doors respectively. Rated BHMA A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 2 and UL Listed with a 3-Hour Fire Rating, this device is backed by a 5-Year Limited Warranty and is ideal for schools, factories, hotels, theaters, offices, retail complexes, and government buildings.
