1) Can the Crouse-Hinds EYS29 sealing fitting be installed in a horizontal conduit run?
No. The EYS29 is an elbow seal rated vertical only, so it has to sit in a vertical section of the run. Mounting it horizontally defeats the way the sealing compound settles and cures in the body.
