1) Is a two hole lug better than a single hole lug for a 750 kcmil feeder?
Two hole pads are what you want on large feeders and on any termination that could see vibration or fault torque. The second bolt keeps the lug from rotating on the pad, which matters far more at 750 kcmil than it does on a small branch conductor. Use a single hole lug only where the equipment pad is drilled for one bolt. The CTL7502 is the two hole, 1/2 inch bolt version.
