Yes. The Delaney 160 Degree solid brass viewer covers doors from 1-3/8 to 2 inches thick, so a standard 1-3/4 inch commercial door sits in the middle of the range. It also covers the 1-3/8 inch interior doors common in older apartment stock and the thicker 2 inch slabs you find on some entries, so one part number works across a mixed building.

A 1/2 inch hole. The viewer body is 1/2 inch diameter, so the bore has to match, and Delaney suggests setting it at 60 inches from the floor. On a metal door plan on a step bit or a 1/2 inch hole saw rated for the skin. If the door already has a viewer hole larger than 1/2 inch, this one will not fill it.

Four finishes: 605 Bright Brass, 613 Satin Bronze Oil-Rubbed, 619 Satin Nickel, and 622 Matte Black. Those are standard BHMA finish numbers, so if your locks or levers are already specified as a 613 or a 619 the viewer number matches straight across. For a fleet of units, order the viewer by the same finish code you carry on the lockset rather than by the finish name.

It drops into an existing 1/2 inch bore, which is the most common viewer hole size, and threads together to clamp doors 1-3/8 to 2 inches. If the old unit was pulled from a larger hole, the 1/2 inch barrel will not grip. Measure the hole before you order a replacement run for a building.

160 degrees is a wide-angle lens, enough to see someone standing to either side of the door frame rather than only straight ahead. Older or cheaper viewers run closer to 180 marketing claims or well under 140 real coverage. For a unit entry where someone may stand off to the hinge side, the wider cone is the practical difference.

Solid brass, not a plated zinc body. That matters on exterior unit doors where the outside half sees weather and on high-traffic corridors where a plated finish wears through at the barrel. The finish is applied over brass, so a scuff on a 605 Bright Brass viewer does not expose a different base metal.
