1) What stile width do I need for the Delaney 9000 rim device?
Rim application needs a minimum 4-1/2 inch stile. If your door has a narrower stile, the rim device is out; the vertical rod version of the 9000 Series only needs 3-1/2 inches.
2) Can I put this Delaney exit device on a wood door?
No. The 9000 Series device is not wood door compatible. It is set up for hollow metal, and it will cover a stock hollow metal door with the standard 161 cutout.
