Delaney Hardware 502802B – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Cascade 300 paper holder rated for commercial restrooms or just residential bathrooms?
It is a residential-grade accessory. For apartment units, condos, and single-family rentals it is the right class of product. For a high-traffic public or institutional restroom, specify a commercial washroom accessory line instead, since this one is not built to that duty class.
2) What finishes does the Delaney Cascade 300 Series paper holder come in?
Two finishes: US26 Polished Chrome and US15 Satin Nickel. If you are matching bath accessories to door hardware already in the unit, US26 pairs with bright chrome levers and US15 with brushed nickel, so pick the one that matches the lever finish on the same floor rather than mixing.
3) Does the Cascade 300 paper holder use a metal or plastic roller?
The roller is metallic-finish plastic, not solid metal. That keeps the spring-loaded roll bar light and it will not corrode in a damp bath, but if you want a metal roller for a rental turn where tenants break parts, look at a holder specified with a metal spindle instead.
4) Can I buy the Cascade 300 paper holder in matching quantities for a multi-unit turn?
Yes. It is sold by finish, one finish per order line (US26 Polished Chrome or US15 Satin Nickel), so a property manager doing a multi-unit refresh can order a single finish in quantity and keep every bathroom identical. Both finishes belong to the same Cascade 300 Series, so the paper holder will match other Cascade 300 bath accessories on the same walls.
5) Is this a pivoting-arm holder or a post-style holder with a roller?
It is a post-style toilet paper holder with a roll bar, the two-post type you drop the spring roller into between the mounting posts. If you want the single-arm pivot style that lets you change the roll without removing a spindle, that is a different configuration.
