Deltana BBN2006/24 Double Towel Bar, 24", BBN Series

Projection is 5-1/2 inches, measured from the wall face to the outer bar. That is the number to check against a swinging door, a shower enclosure, or a vanity edge in a tight bathroom, since a double bar carries two rails and needs that depth. The wall posts have a 1-3/4 inch base width, so the mounting footprint itself is small.

It is zinc and aluminum, not brass. Deltana lists the BBN bathroom collection as a zinc/aluminum line, with zinc as the substrate. If a job calls for solid brass, the Emtek Traditional Brass Double Towel Bar or the Emtek Sandcast Bronze Brass Double Towel Bar are the brass double-bar options instead.

The Deltana BBN2006/24 is a 24 inch double towel bar in the BBN Series, made of zinc and aluminum with a 1-3/4 inch base width and 5-1/2 inch projection. Two other 24 inch options are the Delaney Congaree 200 Series 24 inch towel bar set and the Orca Hardware Camano 24 inch towel bar set. Both of those are sold as sets and are single-bar designs by name, so if you need two towel rails at one mounting location the BBN2006/24 double bar is the one that matches.

The Deltana BBN2006/24 is a zinc and aluminum double towel bar. If brass is required, the Emtek Traditional Brass Double Towel Bar and the Emtek Sandcast Bronze Brass Double Towel Bar are both double-bar brass units, from the Traditional Bath Hardware and Sandcast Bronze Bath Hardware collections respectively. The Emtek pieces carry the styling of those collections rather than the BBN Series look, so confirm the visual match with the rest of the bath hardware before switching.

The BBN2006/24 is a double towel bar, so it carries two rails. For a single-rail 24 inch unit, the Delaney Congaree 200 Series 24 inch towel bar set or the Orca Hardware Camano 24 inch towel bar set both cover that opening. Sure-Loc also offers single towel bars in its Baden and Boulder series in 18, 24 or 30 inch lengths if you want one length family across several bathrooms.

Two: Brushed Nickel and Polished Chrome. Both are the same 24 inch double bar, so a property manager standardizing bathrooms can pick one finish and repeat it across units.

A double bar hangs two towels in the same 24 inch wall run, which is why it gets specified in guest baths and apartment units where wall space is short. The trade-off is depth: the BBN2006/24 projects 5-1/2 inches. If clearance is the problem rather than capacity, a single bar such as the Orca Hardware Camano 24 inch towel bar set or the Sure-Loc Baden in 24 inch covers the same wall span with one rail.

Deltana classes the BBN series as commercial. It gets used in multi-family units, hotels, and light commercial washrooms where the whole bath accessory package is being replaced at once.

Yes, BBN2006/24 is part of the Deltana BBN bathroom accessory collection, so it shares the series styling with the other BBN pieces. Match on finish as well: order Brushed Nickel or Polished Chrome to line up with what is already installed.

No. The Delaney Denali 1100 Series item is a towel bar post only, meaning a mounting post without the bar, and the Delaney Cascade 300 Series item is a square towel bar only, meaning the rail without posts. The Deltana BBN2006/24 is a complete 24 inch double towel bar in zinc and aluminum. Those Delaney pieces are component replacements for their own series and will not stand in for a full assembly.

The Deltana BBN2006/24 is sized at 24 inches, so it will not fill a 30 inch layout. The Sure-Loc Brighton towel bar is a 30 inch bar, and the Sure-Loc Baden and Boulder towel bars are each offered in 18, 24 or 30 inch lengths, which lets you hold one series across mixed bathroom sizes.

The BBN2006/24 is a fixed 24 inch double bar. For other lengths, Sure-Loc offers the Baden and the Boulder in 18, 24 or 30 inch, and the Brighton in 30 inch.

It ships as a complete double towel bar, one per unit, priced each. That is worth noting because some lines split the parts, for example the Delaney Denali 1100 Series is sold as a towel bar post only and the Delaney Cascade 300 Series as a bar only.
