Deltana BBS2006/24 Double Towel Bar, 24", BBS Series

Projection is 5-1/4 inches on the BBS2006/24. That is the number to check in a tight bathroom or a narrow hallway bath where a door swing or vanity edge passes the wall, since a double bar carries two rails and needs the full depth to hang towels without crowding.

Solid brass throughout, not tube steel with a brass-look plating. For a hotel or multi-family bath where towels get yanked on daily, that matters more than the finish does, and Deltana rates the BBS line for commercial use.

Five finishes: Oil Rubbed Bronze, Polished Nickel, Brushed Nickel, Polished Chrome, and Brushed Brass. Because the BBS Series is a full bath accessory collection, you can carry the same finish across the other BBS pieces and keep every bath in the property consistent.

The Deltana BBS2006/24 is a 24 inch double towel bar in solid brass from the BBS Series, a modern bathroom accessory collection. For a traditional-styled room, Emtek offers the Traditional Brass Double Towel Bar, and for a rustic or hand-finished look, the Emtek Sandcast Bronze Brass Double Towel Bar is also a double bar. All three hold two towels on a two-tier bar, so the decision is styling rather than function.

No. The Deltana BBS2006/24 is a complete 24 inch double towel bar with a 2 inch base and 3/4 inch bar. The Delaney Denali 1100 Series item is a towel bar post only, meaning mounting posts without the bar, and the Delaney Cascade 300 Series square item is a towel bar only, meaning the bar without posts. Those two are component pieces for building or repairing a set, not a drop-in replacement for a full double bar.

The Deltana BBS2006/24 is a double bar with a 5-1/4 inch projection off the wall, which is deeper than a single bar needs. Where one towel per station is enough and wall projection matters, single-bar options include the Emtek Modern Brass Towel Bar, the Emtek Transitional Brass Towel Bar, and the Sure-Loc Basic Towel Bar.

For a single rail at the same 24 inch length, the Orca Hardware Camano 24 inch Towel Bar Set and the Delaney Congaree 200 Series 24 inch Towel Bar Set both cover it. Sure-Loc's Baden and Boulder bars are also offered in a 24 inch length. Any of those free up wall depth compared with the 5-1/4 inch projection of the BBS double.

Two rails. It is a double bar, meaning two 3/4 inch brass rods spanning between the same pair of 2 inch posts, so one set of mounting holes gives you twice the towel capacity. If you only want a single rail on that wall, order the single-bar BBS model instead.

The Deltana BBS2006/24 is sized at 24 inches. Other towel bar sets built at that same 24 inch length include the Delaney Congaree 200 Series 24 inch Towel Bar Set and the Orca Hardware Camano 24 inch Towel Bar Set. Sure-Loc's Baden and Boulder towel bars are each offered in 18 inch, 24 inch and 30 inch, so a 24 inch can be pulled from those lines as well. That gives a property manager several routes to a consistent 24 inch mounting layout across units.

The Deltana BBS2006/24 belongs to the BBS Series, a modern bathroom accessory collection in solid brass. For a more ornamental profile, Orca Hardware offers the 36 Series Swirl Towel Bar Set and the 27 Series Swirl Towel Bar Set, plus the 48 Series Blakely Towel Bar Set. Those are single-bar sets, so plan wall space per towel accordingly.

The BBS2006/24 is built at 24 inches, so a longer opening needs a different part. Sure-Loc's Baden and Boulder towel bars are each offered in 18 inch, 24 inch and 30 inch lengths, and the Sure-Loc Brighton towel bar is a 30 inch bar. Those are single-bar designs, so a longer wall run gets more hanging width rather than a second tier.

The Deltana BBS2006/24 is solid brass and is designated for commercial use, offered in Oil Rubbed Bronze, Polished Nickel, Brushed Nickel, Polished Chrome and Brushed Brass. Among the alternatives, Emtek's brass bath hardware lines include the Modern Brass Towel Bar, the Transitional Brass Towel Bar and the Traditional Brass Double Towel Bar, and Emtek also offers a Sandcast Bronze Brass Double Towel Bar. Those give a comparable cast-metal build if the BBS styling is not the right match.

Unit of measure is each, so one BBS2006/24 double towel bar assembly per unit. Count one per bath wall when you are ordering for a unit turn or a multi-bath job.

The Deltana BBS2006/24 is a finished double towel bar with 2 inch bases and a 3/4 inch bar. Comparable complete sets include the Delaney Congaree 200 Series 24 inch Towel Bar Set, the Delaney Acadia 900 Series Towel Bar Set, and the Orca Hardware Camano 24 inch Towel Bar Set. Buying a set avoids having to pair a bar-only piece such as the Delaney Cascade 300 Series square towel bar with separate posts.
