Door thickness range on the CL100EAC entry knob is 1-3/8 inch through 1-3/4 inch, so it covers both the standard commercial 1-3/4 leaf and the thinner 1-3/8 interior doors common in older buildings. Nothing extra to order for either thickness.

The CL100EAC ships with a 2-3/4 inch backset latch, which is the usual commercial prep. A 2-3/8 inch backset is available but is sold separately, so if your existing bore is 2-3/8 inch from the door edge to the center of the hole you need to add that latch to the order rather than assume it is in the box.

The cylinder uses the Schlage C keyway, so it takes the same key blank as the rest of a Schlage C keyed system and a locksmith can key it into that system. It is a single cylinder entrance function: key outside, thumbturn or button inside.

It comes with an ANSI 4-7/8 x 1-1/4 inch strike and a 1/2 inch latch throw. If your frame is already prepped for a standard ANSI strike, the new one drops into the same cutout. If the existing strike is a small round-corner residential plate, you will be enlarging the frame prep to take the ANSI strike.

Grade 2 is the standard commercial duty level and suits apartment entries, office doors and light to moderate traffic. Where the specification calls out a fire rated knob lock by name, the Falcon W101 is a Grade 2 medium duty cylindrical knob lock in passage/closet function with a fire rating and a 2-3/4 inch backset, and the Falcon X101 is the Grade 1 heavy duty fire rated cylindrical passage knobset with an interchangeable core for doors 1-3/8 inch to 2-1/4 inch. Both Falcon options are passage function, so they do not key.

Dummy and privacy trim will fit a door face but will not secure an entry opening.
