Deltana SP6FB Strike Plate for 6" Flush Bolt, 1-3/4" x 1", Solid Brass

The SP6FB is the replacement strike plate for Deltana's 6FBS and 6FBR flush bolts. If you're replacing a strike on either of those, it's the matching part. It won't be the right strike for a different flush bolt model, since the plate is cut to suit the 6FBS/6FBR bolt.

Oil Rubbed Bronze is one of nine finishes on the SP6FB strike plate. The full run is PVD Polished Brass, Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Nickel, Brushed Nickel, Polished Chrome, Brushed Chrome, Paint Black, and Oil Rubbed Bronze. Order the strike in the same finish as the flush bolt it serves, since the plate is the visible piece at the head or sill.

Solid brass throughout. For a threshold strike that gets stepped on and takes water, brass won't rust the way a plated steel plate does once the coating wears at the bolt contact point. Same material in every finish offered.

The SP6FB is sold as a replacement strike, priced and shipped each. Order one per flush bolt you're servicing. On a pair of doors with a top and bottom flush bolt on the inactive leaf, that's two strikes, one mortised into the frame head and one into the floor or threshold.

If the bolt itself still slides freely and the problem is a chewed, bent, or missing strike, the SP6FB strike plate alone fixes it on a Deltana 6FBS or 6FBR. That's a far quicker repair than pulling the bolt out of the door edge. If the bolt binds inside its own housing, the strike won't help.

Deltana lists the SP6FB as commercial grade. Solid brass construction, which is what holds up in multi-family and institutional openings where the inactive leaf gets worked daily.
