Deltana SWP4761 Switch Plate, Double Standard, Solid Brass

Yes. The SWP4761 is a double standard switch plate, meaning two openings for standard toggle switches side by side in a two-gang box. It measures 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 inches overall. If you only have a single toggle, you need a single-gang plate instead.

No. This is the standard toggle template, cut for two traditional toggle switches. A decora style rocker or GFCI needs the rectangular opening plate from Deltana's switch and plug plate range, not this one.

Solid brass through and through, both the material and substrate are brass. That matters for two reasons: it will not rust out in a humid location like a bathroom or a pool house corridor, and the finish is applied over brass rather than plating over steel.

Eight finishes: PVD Polished Brass, Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Nickel, Antique Nickel, Polished Chrome, and Brushed Chrome. If you are standardizing a building, note the difference between Polished Brass and PVD Polished Brass, the PVD version is the coated one intended to hold its shine rather than patina.

The SWP4761 is the double standard toggle configuration, two toggle openings and nothing else. Deltana's Standard Switch Plates series runs a range of templates, single toggle, single and double rocker/GFCI, duplex outlet, and combination toggle plus outlet plates, all in the same solid brass and the same finish range. Pick the template that matches what is actually in the box, then match the finish across the room.

Deltana classifies the SWP4761 as commercial. It is a decorative solid brass cover plate, so it suits hotel corridors, lobbies, offices and multi-family common areas where a plastic plate looks out of place. Property managers buying for a fleet of units can order the same plate across every opening in one finish.

Per plate. The unit of measure is each, so one SWP4761 covers one two-gang opening. For a multi-unit job, count your two-gang boxes and order that quantity in a single finish.
