The WBR1850H is solid brass, which is what keeps it from tarnishing in a wet shower environment, and Deltana classifies it as a commercial-grade item rather than a residential-only accessory. For a property manager standardizing shower storage across units, the brass substrate is the part that matters: it's the same material through the wire, not a plated pot-metal frame.

Mounting hardware ships in the box with the wire basket. Deltana packs it with the basket, so you're not sourcing screws separately for a standard install. On tile or masonry, an installer will typically still want the anchor type suited to that substrate, but the fasteners for the basket itself are included.

Four finishes: PVD Polished Brass, Polished Nickel, Brushed Nickel, and Polished Chrome. The PVD polished brass is the one to pick if you're matching brass trim and want the finish to survive shower spray, since PVD is a deposited coating rather than a lacquer. For a building already running chrome or brushed nickel fixtures, the matching finish is there in the same 17-3/4 inch basket.

It's a deep wire basket, not a flat soap dish. The rectangular deep profile is what lets it carry tall bottles upright rather than just a bar of soap, and at 17-3/4 inches long it takes several at once. Deltana intends it for shower walls as added storage. If all you need is a place for a soap bar, this is more basket than the job calls for.

Sold each. One basket per unit, so if you're outfitting multiple showers, order one per opening. That matters on a multi-family or hotel job where the count runs high and you're pricing per bathroom.

The finish over it comes in four options, and the PVD polished brass version uses a deposited coating rather than a lacquer topcoat. Hard water will still leave mineral spotting on any finish; that's a cleaning issue, not a corrosion one.
