1) Will the Design Hardware 316 Series door closer work on a 3 hour fire rated door?
Yes. The 316 Series is UL Listed for "A" Label 3 hour fire doors and is UL10C positive pressure rated. It also meets ANSI A156.4 Grade 1 and ADA requirements under ANSI A117.1.
