8) My opening is fire rated. Does the Detex EU trim cover that, or do I need something else?
The EU trim is an accessory lever trim for Detex 30 Series mortise devices and for wide strike rim and SVR devices in the 10, 20, 21 and 27 series; the fire rating of the opening is carried by the exit device and door assembly, not by the trim.
