1) Will the Don-Jo 12-CW wrap around plate fit my door and lockset?
Three numbers have to line up, and the 12-CW states all three. It is made for a 1-3/4 inch thick door, a 2-1/8 inch cross bore, and a 2-3/4 inch backset from the door edge to the center of that bore. If your door and lock match on all three, the plate goes on and the lockset reinstalls through it. Miss on any one and the hole will not line up with your lock. 2) My lock has a 2-3/8 inch backset. Can I still use the 12-CW wrap plate?

Force it on and the knob or lever body will not center in the opening. You need a wrap around plate cut for the 2-3/8 inch backset instead.
