Don-Jo 25-S-CW – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the Don-Jo 25 CW wrap around fit an Arrow Revolution or Yale In-Touch electronic lock?
That is exactly what the 25 CW is cut for. The plate carries an electronic lock hole configuration plus a latch prep indent sized to the footprint of Arrow Revolution and Yale In-Touch electronic locksets, so the lock body and its wiring pass through without field modification. If you are covering a standard cylindrical lever or knob instead, this is the wrong cutout pattern.
2) How much of the door does the 25 CW cover, and will it hide a torn-up lock prep?
The plate measures 5-1/8 inches by 15 inches, wrapping the edge of the door and covering the face around the lock. That area is enough to conceal splintering, old screw holes, or an oversized bore around the existing prep, as long as the damage falls inside the 5-1/8 by 15 inch footprint and the lock hole pattern still matches your Arrow Revolution or Yale In-Touch hardware.
3) Do I need to re-drill the door to install this wrap around?
No new lock prep is needed on a door already bored for an Arrow Revolution or Yale In-Touch lock at a 2-3/4 inch backset. The plate's lock hole and latch prep indent register over the existing prep, and it wraps the door edge so the latch face stays clear.
4) Is 22-gauge steel heavy enough for a high-traffic commercial door?
The 25 CW is 22-gauge (.032) steel and is rated commercial, which is what Don-Jo builds these wrap arounds in for schools, healthcare, retail and multi-tenant buildings. It is a cover and reinforcement plate, not a structural repair: if the door edge itself is crushed through, the wrap around will dress it but will not restore the material.
5) What finishes can I order the Don-Jo 25 CW wrap around in?
Two finishes are orderable: polished brass and satin stainless steel. Brass suits openings with existing 605-family brass trim, stainless matches the 630-type satin hardware most commercial jobs standardize on. Pick the one already on the lever and the hinges so the plate does not read as a repair.
6) How many wrap arounds come in a pack?
The 25 CW ships one per pack, sold individually. For a fleet of doors on the same lock platform you order a unit per opening, which keeps counts simple when you are standardizing an entire floor or building.
