Mustee 3454M – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size opening does the Mustee 3454M Durabase shower floor fit?
The 3454M Durabase is a 34 by 54 inch shower floor, so it is built for an alcove or framed opening sized to that footprint. It is a single-size model, meaning there is only one set of dimensions to frame to rather than a range of sizes to pick from.
2) Is the Mustee 3454M a shower pan you set on the floor, or a full shower stall with walls?
It's the base only. The 3454M is a shower floor, so wall surrounds, the drain trim, valve and door or curtain rod are all separate purchases. Plan the job with the wall panels selected to suit a 34 by 54 inch base.
3) Where can I get the rough-in drawing for the Mustee 3454M before I frame the walls?
Mustee publishes a spec sheet for the 3454M, and it's linked from the product information. Pull it before framing so the drain location and curb detail are set correctly for the 34 by 54 inch footprint.
4) What color is the Mustee 3454M Durabase shower base?
White. It's the only color offered on the 3454M, which makes it straightforward for a property manager standardizing bathrooms across units, since every replacement pan matches the last one.
