Mustee 3642M – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size opening does the Mustee 3642M Durabase shower floor fit?
The 3642M Durabase is a 36 x 42 inch shower floor, so it is sized for a 36 by 42 alcove or corner rough opening. Frame to those nominal dimensions. If your opening is 36 x 36 or 36 x 48, the 3642M is the wrong footprint and you want the Durabase built for that size instead.
2) What part number do I order for the Mustee 36 by 42 Durabase shower floor?
Order Mustee model 3642M. That is the manufacturer part number for the 36 x 42 white Durabase shower floor, and it is the number to quote to match existing units already installed in a building.
3) Is the Mustee 3642M a shower pan only, or does it include walls?
It is the shower floor by itself, a base/receptor with no wall panels. Plan on a separate surround or tiled walls, plus a drain assembly, to complete the installation.
4) What color is the Mustee 3642M shower base?
White. The 3642M Durabase ships in white only, which is the finish that matches standard white fixtures and surrounds on a multi-family or hotel bath turn.
