Mustee 3442M – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size shower base is the Mustee 3442M Durabase, and which opening will it fit?
The Mustee 3442M Durabase shower floor is a 34 by 42 inch rectangular base in white. Measure the finished alcove at the floor before ordering: a 34 x 42 base needs framing that matches those footprint dimensions, and a stud opening cut for a 36 x 36 or 32 x 48 square-up will not take it. It is a single model, so the size is fixed, not an option to select.
2) What is the correct part number to order for a Mustee 34 x 42 white shower floor?
Order it as Mustee 3442M. That is the manufacturer part number for the 34 x 42 white Durabase shower floor, and it is the only model under that name, so there are no finish or size suffixes to add to it.
3) Will the Mustee 3442M shower floor match white fixtures already installed in the unit?
The 3442M Durabase floor is finished white, which is the standard white property managers spec against white tubs, toilets and surrounds when they standardize a building. It ships in one color only, so there is no biscuit or bone version of this model to confuse on a reorder.
