Mustee 3060LBN – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Mustee 3060LBN Durabase shower floor a left-hand drain or right-hand drain base?
Left hand. The 3060LBN is the LH version of the Durabase shower floor, so the drain sits at the left end as you face the base from the room side. Drain hand is not field-changeable on a molded base, so if your rough-in drain is at the opposite end you need the right-hand model instead, not this one. Confirm which end your waste line comes up at before you order.
2) Is the Mustee Durabase 3060LBN a shower pan you tile over, or a finished floor?
It is a finished, one-piece molded shower floor. You set it, connect the drain, and build the walls to it. Nothing gets tiled over the top, and there is no mud bed or liner to form. That is the practical difference between a Durabase floor and a tile-in pan liner assembly, and it is why these go into apartment and light commercial bathroom turns where the install has to finish in a day.
3) Does the Mustee 3060LBN come with a drain assembly?
The 3060LBN is sold as the shower floor itself under a single model number. Plan on supplying the drain body, trap, and any waste piping separately, along with the wall surround or tile backer, since none of those are part of the base model number.
4) What color is the Mustee 3060LBN shower base?
Bone. That is the off-white tone Mustee runs alongside plain white, so if you are matching an existing bone tub or water closet in a multi-family unit it will sit closer than a white base will. There is no white option under this model number; white is a separate Mustee part number.
