The non-latching 6451 Exit Sensor Bar offers immediate “no prior knowledge” egress by pushing on the bar at any point, with 15 Lbs. or less pressure. A light touch is all that is required to activate one or both internal optical sensors designed to detect an exit attempt. A built-in mechanical switch is also included as a redundant back-up release. 3) Is the DynaLock 6451 the same thing as a REX switch kit for an existing exit device?

If your door already has a working panic device and you only need a signal from it, a REX kit is the right part. If the door has a maglock and no push hardware, the 6451 is.
4) What is the difference between the DynaLock 6451 exit sensor bar and the Cal-Royal ACT-36 actuator bar?
Both are 36 inch bars mounted across the inside face of a door, but they do different jobs.
