1) Will the DynaLock EML-5 electrified mortise lock drop into an existing Schlage L9000 prep?

The DynaLock EML-5 is an electrified mortise lock in entry with deadbolt function on 12/24 VDC. The EML Series is designed to retrofit the Schlage L9000 Series, so the mortise pocket prep lines up, but you are moving from a non-deadbolt mechanical lock to a deadbolt-equipped electrified one and will need to run power to the door.
10) What should I use on a behavioral health or detention opening instead of the EML-5?
