B-Line Eaton series adapters and kits, White polyester powder coated stainless steel, Used to increase space around panel for wire, panel adapters, P

The 4836GP is a NEMA panel adapter from the Eaton B-Line Premier series accessory line. It mounts around an enclosure panel to increase the space available for wire, giving you room to bend and dress conductors that would otherwise be crowded against the panel. It is not an enclosure itself, and it is not a wireway; it is an adapter ring that adds depth for wiring around the panel.

Published dimensions on the 4836GP are 46 inches height, 34 inches width and 34 inches length/depth, at 44.249 lb. That weight matters on install: this is a two-person lift on a vertical enclosure, and you want your mounting prepared before it goes up.

The 4836GP is finished in white polyester powder coat over stainless steel, which is the standard Eaton B-Line enclosure finish, so it reads as a match alongside white B-Line boxes. Across brands, white powder coats do vary slightly in tone, so if the adapter sits in a visible location next to another manufacturer's enclosure, expect a possible shade difference.

The 4836GP body is stainless steel with a white polyester powder coat, which is the combination specified for wet, washdown and chemically aggressive areas where painted carbon steel corrodes at the seams. For a dry indoor electrical room, painted or galvanized steel accessories are the usual lower-cost route; the stainless construction here is what you pay for when the environment is wet.

Order it by the Eaton B-Line model number 4836GP. That single catalog number covers the white powder coated stainless version used to add wiring space around the panel; there are no separate finish or size options to specify with it.

If the enclosure size and panel layout already work and the only problem is conductors crowding at the panel edges, an adapter like the B-Line 4836GP is the cheaper and faster fix: it adds space around the panel without repulling, refitting or re-terminating into a new box. Swap to a larger enclosure when you also need more panel real estate for additional devices, not just wiring room.
