B-LINE 3636GP – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What is the Eaton B-Line 3636GP Premier series accessory used for?
The 3636GP is a Premier series enclosure accessory used to increase the space around a panel for wire. In practice that means extra gutter room behind or around the mounted panel so conductors can be routed and bent without crowding the panel itself.
2) What size opening does the B-Line 3636GP cover, and how much does it weigh?
It is a 34 inch square part, listed at 34 in height, 34 in width and 34 in length/depth, and it weighs 32.94 lb. Plan for two people or a lift on a wall mount at that weight, and confirm your enclosure's mounting footprint matches the 34 inch dimension before ordering.
3) Is the B-Line 3636GP UL Listed for use on an electrical enclosure?
Yes, the 3636GP Premier series accessory is UL Listed. If your specification or inspector requires listed components on the enclosure assembly, that listing is on record for this part.
4) Is the B-Line 3636GP stainless steel or painted, and will it hold up in a washdown or corrosive area?
Material is stainless steel with a white powder coated finish, so you get corrosion resistance from the substrate plus a painted exterior that matches the white Premier series enclosures. The white coating also keeps interior reflectivity up when you are working in the cabinet.
5) What exact part number do I order for the 34 inch white B-Line Premier series panel accessory?
Order manufacturer part number 3636GP from Eaton's B-Line series. That is the only model on this configuration, in white powder coated stainless steel, so there is no finish or size option to specify on the order.
6) Does the B-Line 3636GP work with NEMA rated enclosures?
It is built as a NEMA panel adapter style accessory within the Premier series enclosure line, so it is intended to mate with NEMA rated Premier series cabinets rather than generic sheet metal boxes. Match it to a Premier series enclosure with a 34 inch mounting dimension.
